Inspired by Piet Mondrian's Composition with Red, Yellow and Blue from 1921, this wallpaper was done in GIMP and modified slightly to be more pleasing for the wallpaper format (Mondrian's canvas was a square).

I am using the Mondrian original for a very long time... its classy and easy to use as you can group the icons..

Yeah, since we were taught in one of my art classes that Mondrian did his works during the "Modernist" period in the "Minimalist" style, I figured this painting would be a perfect candidate for a background. I knew I would like such a thing, but I haven't come across one yet.
